Welcome to HORO, operated by Right7Video Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the HORO mobile application. By using HORO, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the Service.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, username, and password to create and manage your HORO account.
Profile Information: You may optionally provide a profile photo, bio, gender, and location to personalize your profile on HORO.
Content You Create: We collect all content you create, upload, or share including videos, stories, audio recordings, comments, messages, and captions.
Payment Information: For coin purchases and earnings withdrawal, we collect bank account details, UPI ID, or PayPal address. Credit card numbers are never stored — payments are processed securely through our payment partners (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, Cashfree).
Device & Technical Data: We automatically collect device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and mobile network information.
Usage & Behavioral Data: We collect information about videos you watch, content you create, accounts you follow, hashtags you use, comments you make, and other interactions with the HORO platform.
Location Information: With your permission, we may collect and process your approximate or precise location information to provide location-based features.
Provide & Personalize Services: To create and manage your HORO account, personalize your video feed, and deliver a tailored experience based on your interests and usage patterns.
Process Transactions: To process coin purchases, virtual gift transactions, and earnings withdrawals securely and accurately.
Safety & Security: To detect and prevent fraudulent activities, spam, abuse, and violations of our Community Guidelines. To protect the safety of HORO users.
Communication: To send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and account-related notifications. To send promotional communications about new features (you can opt out anytime).
Analytics & Improvement: To analyze usage patterns, monitor performance, fix bugs, and continuously improve the HORO app experience.
Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and government requests.
We Never Sell Your Data: Right7Video Technologies does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes — ever.
Public Content: Videos, comments, and profile information you post publicly on HORO are visible to all users and may be indexed by search engines.
Service Providers: We share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate HORO — including cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean), payment processors, analytics providers, and customer support tools. All are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified of any such change.
Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. Sensitive data at rest is also encrypted.
Access Controls: We implement strict access controls, two-factor authentication for admin systems, and regular security audits to protect your data.
Incident Response: We have a comprehensive incident response plan. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you without undue delay.
Your Responsibility: Please keep your account password confidential and log out from shared devices. HORO will never ask for your password via email or chat.
Minimum Age Requirement: HORO is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
Parental Consent: Users between 13–18 years old must have parental or guardian consent to use HORO. Parents can contact us to review or delete their child's information.
Age Verification: We require date of birth during registration to enforce age requirements. Accounts found to belong to children under 13 are immediately removed.
Contact for Removal: If you believe your child under 13 has created a HORO account, contact us immediately at privacy@right7video.com and we will remove the account and all associated data within 48 hours.
Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of all personal information we hold about you. Submit a request through the app or at privacy@right7video.com.
Right to Correction: You can correct inaccurate or incomplete information directly in your HORO account settings at any time.
Right to Deletion: You can delete your HORO account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Some data may be retained for legal compliance.
Right to Data Portability: You can request your data in a portable, machine-readable format by contacting privacy@right7video.com.
Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link, or disable push notifications in your device settings or HORO app.
Third-Party Advertising: HORO is supported by advertising and displays ads through third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob and Meta (Facebook) Audience Network. These partners may use cookies, mobile device identifiers, and your advertising ID to serve and measure ads — including personalized ads based on your interests and prior activity in apps and websites.
Google's Use of Data: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and identifiers to serve ads in our app. Google's use of advertising data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Your Ad Choices & Opt-Out: You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time. On Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or reset your advertising ID). You can also manage choices at https://adssettings.google.com and https://www.aboutads.info/choices.
Essential Cookies: Required for basic platform functionality including account login, security, and session management. Cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how you use HORO so we can improve the app. Collected anonymously through analytics partners.
